1. What we offer

1. Local Voices JP ("we", "us") helps people traveling in Japan through chat on WhatsApp, calls on Google Meet, and booking assistance.
2. We make bookings on your behalf for restaurants, activities, salons, and similar places. We do not book hotels or transportation for you; for these, we only explain how you can book them yourself.
3. We are not a travel agency and do not operate a travel business under Japan's Travel Agency Act. In plain terms: we don't sell tour packages, hotel stays, or transport tickets.

2. Signing up

1. Your agreement with us begins when you accept these Terms and we confirm your payment.
2. The 14-day and 90-day plans start on the day we confirm your payment. Plans do not renew automatically.

3. Booking assistance

1. We make bookings based on the place, date, time, and group size you give us.
2. Whether a booking can be made depends on the place, so we cannot guarantee it.
3. The service at the place, payment, and any cancellation fees are between you and that place. Costs from no-shows or late cancellations are your responsibility.

4. Response times

We reply to messages between 9:00 and 21:00 Japan time, usually within 24 hours. We cannot offer emergency support. In an emergency, such as illness, injury, an accident, or a disaster, contact the police (110) or fire and ambulance services (119) directly.

5. What you may not do

You may not:

• Do or ask us to do anything illegal or against public order
• Ask us to make bookings with false information, or cause trouble for the places we book
• Harass or defame us or anyone else
• Do anything else we reasonably consider inappropriate

If this happens, we may stop providing the service, and no refund will be given.

6. Information and liability

1. We check the information we give you as carefully as we can, but opening hours, prices, and other details may change.
2. Except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted on this site. Plans purchased before a change stay under the Terms in effect when you bought them.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute.
